Bleu Massage starts prenatal sessions in the second trimester (week 13 onward). That's a common, cautious approach while early pregnancy settles. You're welcome to book as soon as you reach 13 weeks.
Weeks 13-27 are often the most comfortable time for massage. You'll rest side-lying with pillows and bolsters supporting your belly, hips and knees while Maria works on the low back, hips, shoulders and neck.
Yes, for a healthy pregnancy. From week 28 you'll stay side-lying, never flat on your back, and sessions focus on the low back, hips, and swelling in the feet and ankles. Gentle lymphatic drainage can be added for swelling.
Please get your OB or midwife's OK if you have high blood pressure, preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, placenta concerns, a history of preterm labor, or any high-risk pregnancy. Call your provider straight away for sudden swelling, severe headache, bleeding or reduced movement.

Feeding, rocking and carrying put strain on the upper back, neck, shoulders, wrists and hips. Postpartum sessions focus there, and on rest. Gentle lymphatic drainage can help with leftover swelling.
Yes. Let Maria know so she can adjust your position and pillows for comfort.
